On June 23rd Parker opened its new field house to the public. This field house contains three venues, gymnasium, inline sports court, and sports turf. This allows residents to take park in a range of sports activities like inline hockey, indoor soccer, and arena football. In increasing to the three major venues the field house has a climbing wall,

indoor track, batting cages, a children's playground, fitness area and meeting room space.

The field house was designed to take sporting to a new level, and by gift these facilities to Parker residents the community has shown their commitment to their residents living healthy lives.

In increasing to the sports facilities, Parker encourages the outdoor experience. Parker has over two hundred acres dedicated to park land, and has seven hundred acres of undeveloped open space. Challenger Regional Park is one of the biggest parks in the Parker area. The park contains three lighted fields, three roller hockey rinks, and a skate park. This park offers a range of activities as well as a trail system for recreational walking. Within the park there are any picnic areas where families can enjoy lunch while enjoying the outdoor atmosphere. Horse lovers have their own park, Salisbury Equestrian Park settled within Parker. This park contains one hundred thirty acres of equestrian land that was developed strictly for this purpose. Also settled within this park are youth baseball fields that are sponsored by the Colorado Rockies.
